Product development and management generally sounds very easy but its very big task. It includes documentation, technical knowledge, knowledge of market, target audience and many things. A person should be very well versed with internet industry to be a product manager. Product management includes:
• Planning – Firstly, you should understand your product well. Unless you donot know ur product, u can’t make it a successful one. Think and plan everything related to your product. Wide your horizon for making a successful product.
• Documentation – After planning, print your idea onto papers. This helps you to analyze every aspect of your product. Think every if, then, else, but, how, when etc..of your product.
• Execution – Now start working on your product development. Convert your product concept into real one. It involves, coding, tie-ups, joint ventures etc.. Before launching any product, donot forget to test this. Testing is very much required. It protects any product from failure.
• Launch – After successful execution and testing, its time to launch your product into market. Use all the mediums to reach to your target audience.
• Monitor – Product development doesnot ends at launching. You need to monitor your product success or failure at every step.
